Insight of the Day: Teens use YouTube on a daily basis more than TikTok

According to a recent report by Insider Intelligence, teenagers in the United States are more likely to use YouTube on a daily basis compared to TikTok. The study found that 85% of teens use YouTube daily, while only 72% use TikTok daily.

YouTube's popularity among teenagers is likely due to its wide range of content, including music videos, vlogs, tutorials, and more. In comparison, TikTok is known for its short-form videos and viral challenges, which may appeal to a more niche audience.

The report also found that Instagram is another popular platform among teenagers, with 81% using it daily. However, Snapchat lags behind with only 64% of teens using it daily.

Overall, the study highlights the importance of video content for teenagers and the significant role that platforms like YouTube play in their daily lives.
