Music: Reflect: Belfast’s New Anthem-Makers Turning Noise Into Momentum

Reflect is a four-piece rock band formed in early 2025 in Belfast. The lineup features Tay Layno on bass and vocals, Flann Falconer and Thomas O’Leary on guitars, and Noah Kelly on drums. Since their formation, they have quickly built a reputation for high-energy performances and emotionally charged, anthemic songwriting.

Their debut single “Wasting My Time” introduced them as a band built for big rooms and loud crowds, earning early radio recognition and becoming a regular feature at Belfast Giants games in the SSE Arena. They have performed at key Belfast venues including the Oh Yeah Music Centre, Empire Music Hall, and Mandela Hall, and have supported CHERYM on tour across Ireland. With multiple singles released and an EP on the way, Reflect are gaining momentum as one of Northern Ireland’s most promising emerging rock acts.

“Bulletproof” showcases Reflect’s signature blend of driving guitars, tight rhythm sections, and emotionally direct vocals. The song leans into themes of resilience, defiance, and pushing forward despite pressure, capturing the feeling of standing strong when everything feels uncertain. Its structure builds toward a powerful, chant-ready chorus that reflects the band’s live-oriented energy.

Musically, “Bulletproof” balances punchy verses with an explosive hook, creating a sound that feels both urgent and uplifting. The track reinforces Reflect’s identity as a band focused on bold emotion and big, unifying moments, strengthening their growing catalogue of modern Irish rock anthems.
