Streaming: TV FACE – “White Noise White Lies”: Jagged, Ecstatic, and Unstoppable

TV FACE are three weirdos from Lancaster serving up “sonic fury with a satirical edge,” delivering music that is blistering, genre-defying, and both chaotic and meticulously tight. Their songs are as visually striking as they are sonically fierce, with artwork and videos crafted by Steve to create an immersive audiovisual world that’s uniquely TV FACE.

Praised by Louder Than War for their “dynamics I’ve not seen since the likes of Therapy? in the early nineties,” their live shows are explosive events — intense, cathartic, and unpredictable. They’ve supported The Undertones, Benefits, Warmduscher, Evil Blizzard, Opus Kink, and more, and release their music through Preston’s powerhouse label Crackedankles Records (home to Evil Blizzard, Yaang, Hot Wax, and others). Following their critically acclaimed 2023 debut Tide of Men, the band will drop their second LP Wolf Rents Bark on 5 September 2025, recorded at Whitewood Studios in Liverpool with producer Rob Whiteley.

Described as “an explosive, serrated slice of jagged schizoid noise pop” by Louder Than War, White Noise White Lies is TV FACE at their most raw and raucous. It smashes against walls, floors, and ceilings, twisting into new shapes on every bounce — ecstatic, erratic, and razor-sharp. With post-punk edges kept dangerously sharp, the track is a sonic detonation that captures the band’s dark, biting energy while keeping listeners on the edge of their seats.
